When I first established the UPLIFT Community Foundation, Inc. in 1986, my goal was to find positive ways to help minorities and women. This led me to create programs and events which, unfortunately, required substantial amounts of money to operate. Since its creation, the Foundation has received financial contributions from corporations, other businesses, non-profit groups, and private individuals. However, the Foundation is always in need of additional donations in order to continue carrying out activities and programs that help to improve the communities.

I ask that you please contribute generously to our Annual Fundraising Campaign. With the money and gifts that we receive, the Foundation can do its work successfully, by improving the social and economic status of diverse communities. If you will be so kind as to make a tax-deductible contribution payable to the UPLIFT Community Foundation, Inc. the minorities and women that we help would be eternally grateful.

Sincerely Yours,

Solomon T. Miles, Sr.
