PRESIDENT APPOINTS NEW MEMBER TO HIS ADVISORY CABINET
Mr. Solomon T. Miles, Sr., President/CEO of the Uplift Community Foundation and the Uplift Institute, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Caroline Kuo to his Advisory Cabinet. Mr. Miles said that this bright, energetic, and highly-qualified young lady brings to the table an incredible background of experience in Events-planning, Marketing, and Public Relations. CAROLINE KUO Special Events Coordinator Capital Hospice Member of the President’s Advisory Cabinet
Caroline Kuo is the Special Events Coordinator for Capital Hospice. She is responsible for the management and coordination of Capital Hospice fundraising events. In her two years with Capital Hospice, she has worked a variety of events in the Washington, DC metropolitan area’s most prestigious museums, golf courses and hotels.
Caroline will be advising the president on matters pertaining to Public Relations and Marketing. Her advice is expected to be flexible and not restricted to those areas of expertise.
Born in Troy, Michigan, Caroline attended Michigan State University graduating with B.A. and M. A. degrees in advertising.
In 2003, Caroline moved to Washington, DC to join Stovell Marketing and Public Relations, coordinating conferences and galas in major cities across the United States.
Caroline is a member of Meeting Planners International and actively volunteers with the planning committee. She also spends her spare time volunteering for the National Zoo and the AIDS Marathon Training Program.
