The UPLIFT Community Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), tax-exempt organization that works to provide charitable and educational opportunities designed to improve the social and economic status of diverse communities.  Solomon T. Miles, founder of UCF in 1986, is currently President and CEO.

The UPLIFT Community Foundation, Inc. is committed to supporting programs that ensure that diverse communities achieve a higher standard of living through education, economic development, and cultural awareness.

Our Mission

UCF's mission is to improve the quality of life for people within many diverse,  communities by facilitating social and economic opportunities.  The Foundation's mission is to also serve as a collector, manager, and distributor of funds for the purpose of supporting programs that assist all people within the community, regardless of their differences such as, but not limited to:  educational, ethnic or economic background and/or creed.

UCF supports it's mission by stimulating the establishment of endowments to serve the community now and in the future by realizing the intent of donors and carrying out their charitable intentions.
